For this one, Concepts took inspiration from Japanese tuna and Japanese restaurant culture. The most sought-after piece of tuna is the particularly fatty belly piece, the otoro. The different shades of pink and red on the suede upper reflect the colors of the otoro. The reflective parts are reminiscent of the knives used to prepare the delicacy.
